The Business Consultant Assistance Program allows business owners to receive no cost consultative support in their application process.
The Atlanta Open for Business Fund connects Atlanta small business owners with resources to build wealth by investing in assets such as commercial space, equipment and technology.
There are four fund areas:
Atlanta Recovery Loan Program: offers low-cost loans to help small businesses grow ownership of tangible assets with loans up to $150,000
Commercial Property Improvement Grant: this grant programs offers up to $50,000 in reimbursable grants which can be used for both internal and external improvements to their commercial property
Commercial Down Payment Assistance: offers low-interest financing to assist existing business owners in the city of Atlanta acquire commercial property with assistance up to $250,000
Atlanta Startup Growth Loan: a low-interest loan of up to $150,000 to help tech startups grow and scale through the purchase and acquisition of assets
Each program area is supported by our Technical Assistance providers, which provide business consulting services at no cost to you.
Businesses who need support in the application process can complete the form to receive business consulting services. These business consultants will provide support with helping business owners navigate the application process, develop a successful application, and compile supporting documents.
This no cost service is available to any businesses in the city of Atlanta applying for one of the available grants or loans.

About the Fund
With generous support from Wells Fargo and United Way of Greater Atlanta, Invest Atlanta has established the Atlanta Open for Business Fund program. This program was created to help small business owners in Atlanta build wealth by investing in assets such as commercial space, equipment, and technology. More specifically, racially and ethnically diverse business owners who have been disproportionately hurt by the pandemic will be an important focus.
